As the horrific images of suffering Gazans and traumatized hostages continue to break our hearts, FAN and other faith based organizations seek ways to build peace through nonviolent advocacy. This Advent, we encourage you to join us in sending a Christmas card to our senior elected officials urging U.S. support for a lasting ceasefire in Gaza and a just peace for the Holy Land.

FAN has designed a printable Christmas advocacy card and is partnering with several other faith organizations to invite members of our networks to participate in this Advent project for peace through these simple steps:

  1. Print out three copies of our Christmas card linked below on regular 8.5×11 paper (in color or b/w)
  2. Fold the card in quarters along the dotted lines (in half from top to bottom with picture on the exterior, then in half again so the printed message is on the inside of the card)
  3. Sign with your name, address (to show the recipient you are a constituent), and any personal message you’d like to add.
  4. Mail one copy to President Joseph Biden, 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20500.
  5. Mail one copy to each of your state’s two Senators. Click here and find your home state in the dropdown box to find your Senators’ mailing addresses.

We encourage you to print and send these as soon as possible because physical mail to government offices takes a few extra days to be processed. Please also forward this information to your friends and networks to participate.

Thank you for taking the time to participate in peace advocacy. Let’s flood the White House and Senate offices with cards urging peace in the Holy Land this Advent!
