David B. Couturier, OFM. Cap. PhD, DMin., is the research analyst on economic issues for the Franciscan Action Network in Washington, DC. He is the outgoing director of the Office for Pastoral Planning for the Archdiocese of Boston and the director of Catholic Consultations International, a ministry that provides organizational development and mediation services to Catholic and not for profit institutions. He provides a look at consumerism with a focus on the issue of human trafficking.
