Advocating for a Just Farm Bill
As hunger rises across the United States, the federal government continues to make drastic cuts to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), the nation’s most effective anti-hunger program. In fact, the President’s recently-released 2027 budget proposes steep cuts to domestic programs to make way for a 44 percent increase in military spending. Please join the Franciscan Action Network for a webinar on this subject on Tuesday, April 14 at 7PM ET.

Peace and Justice Pilgrimage with Pace e Bene
Join FAN and Pace e Bene Nonviolence Service on a powerful pilgrimage to Assisi, Italy in April of 2026 led by Franciscan Friar Michael Lasky and Dr. Ken Butigan. This journey is a one-week pilgrimage to Assisi, Italy on April 22-29, 2026, to pray, study the lives of St. Francis and St. Clare, build community, and deepen our commitment to Gospel nonviolence. Michele Dunne, Executive Director of the Franciscan Action Network will join Friar Michael and Dr. Butigan in this once-in-a-lifetime experience—and we hope you will too!

Dialogue with Palestinian and Israeli Bereaved Families for Peace – March 14, 2024
On March 14, 2024, Franciscan Action Network hosted two speakers from the Holy Land, one Israeli and one Palestinian, who are members of the Bereaved Families for Peace. On January 5, the Faith in Democracy Vigil demonstrated that people of faith can be uniters, not dividers, in today’s America.
