Moved to action by the decision of the state of Ohio to allow fracking in designated wildlife areas and state parks, a Cleveland Area – FJC member recently joined other Ohioans, organized by Third Act Ohio and Save Ohio Parks, in front of Chase Bank headquarters in Columbus (pictured) to call attention to JPMorgan Chase being among the largest funders of fossil fuels. Others who stood in witness included similarly concerned residents and four police officers from a dialogue committee. Since the Paris Agreement was signed in 2015, Chase Bank has put over $434 billion into fossil fuel projects worldwide.
