The Interfaith Immigration Coalition, of which FAN is a part, agreed to a letter-writing campaign during the month of October to oppose the SAFE act, which is currently being considered in Congress. Following is FAN's contribution.
All eyes are now on the critical situation in Syria, and in September legislators in D.C. must also deal with the budget, the deficit and other issues. The timeline for immigration reform may be pushed back to November or December.
