Patrick has been executive director of the Franciscan Action Network since 2010. He is also a co-founder of the Global Catholic Climate Movement, an organization working on global climate justice issues as well as Faithful Democracy, a faith coalition focused on the issue of Money in Politics, working to educate on the corruptive influence of big money on our democracy. He is a recipient of the 2015 White House Champion for Change Award for his work in the Climate Change arena, a Senior Fellow at the Center for Earth Ethics and is personally dedicated to social justice to bring about individual and societal transformation.

Sister Marie Lucey, OSF (of FAN Institutional Member Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia) has been with FAN since 2011, advocating for immigrant rights, gun violence prevention, human trafficking and other social justice and peacemaking issues. She also coordinates and communicates with FAN's institutional members. From 2003-2011, Sr. Marie served as Associate Director for Social Mission of the Leadership Conference of Women Religious (LCWR). Prior to working with LCWR, Sister Marie served for six years as her community's Congregational Minister (President), following many years as Director of Corporate Social Responsibility, Justice and Peace Coordinator, and educator. She has participated in delegations to Nicaragua, El Salvador, Mexico, and a CRS delegation of women religious to Syria and Lebanon to learn first-hand about the Iraqi refugee crisis in order to promote awareness, advocacy and assistance on their return.

Sr. Maria Orlandini OSF, born in Italy, joined the Canossian Daughters of Charity and after formation was sent to the North American Province in Albuquerque, NM for almost 25 years. She has a Masters in Pastoral Studies from Loyola University, Chicago and has served in parish ministry, as Youth and Young Adults Director, Director of Faith Formation, Pastoral Associate and her community’s Director of National/International Volunteer program. As part of different committees she has been privileged to travel for meetings and experiences in the Philippines, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico as well as Tanzania, Malawi, Uganda and Kenya. In these countries she believes she was privileged to get to know first- hand the poverty and injustices that keep people and countries poor as well as the warmth of their welcome, the simplicity of their lives and the depth of their trust in God.

Marty is the new organizational director with special emphasis on fund raising, major donor development, and lay activist recruitment. In addition to his work at FAN, he is presently the elected House Clerk at the Connecticut General Assembly and has spent his career in union, candidate, and organization management. He resides in New Haven, CT and is a graduate of St. Francis College /University of New England in Biddeford, Maine.

Jason is originally from Toledo, Ohio. His confirmation name was Francis, which fueled a lifelong passion for social justice and peacemaking. He graduated from John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio with a Bachelor of Arts degree in both History and Religious Studies with a concentration in Catholic Studies. After graduating from JCU, Jason spent a year in Nashville, Tennessee doing a year of service with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps.

Rhonda joined the Franciscan Action team in 2012 and has over 15 years of experience in Accounting. As Office Manager, she is responsible for the over-site of the organization’s accounting services including donations, grants, cash flows, account reconciliations, accounts payable, monthly reporting and most administrative duties.

Janine joined FAN in 2012 as our Communications Coordinator, electronically maintaining our Social Media. Working closely with all FAN staff, she develops and publishes two electronic newsletters and controls the frequent updates of our projects and actions on our Facebook and Twitter pages as well as updating the articles and postings to our website. Additionally, Janine works in a supportive role assisting the staff of the Global Catholic Climate Movement in their communications.
Prior to joining FAN, she was a travel agent and customer service representative. She lives in Connecticut with her husband and three daughters, where she works from her home.
