Franciscan Earth Corps, New York is happy to announce plans for a retreat geared to young adults, ages 18-35 to take place June 7th, 2014 in Garrison, NY.
Conversion to Right Relationship
Day to day we can become worn down by the broken relationships and injustices that surround us. When we listen closely we can sense the voice of our Creator calling us to live in a more just and harmonious relationship with all of God's Creation. On June 7th we invite you to join the Franciscan Earth Corps in an exploration of what it looks like to join God in renewing our relationships with each other and with the world around us. How does our faith call us to repair our brokenness, act on injustice and live in right relationship? During this day-long retreat experience you will be introduced to eco-spirituality and justice in the Franciscan tradition. We will invite you join representatives of a national network of young adults who seek to live out the Gospel in daily life through action, contemplation, and the process of ongoing conversion.
