Interfaith Call-in Day to Support Gun Violence Prevention

It has been almost a year since the tragedy in Newtown, CT we still do not have a federal law that requires any background check before most gun purchases.

On Friday, December 13, join moral activists from coast to coast and urge your Senators to pass laws to prevent gun violence. On the day before the first anniversary of the tragedy in Newtown, there is an interfaith call-in to lawmakers urging them to support common sense measures to prevent gun violence in this country. Go to for instructions on how to receive a text reminder message, the number to call as well as suggested language for the call. On the 13th it will be updated to enable participants to speak directly with their Senators at the click of a button. Last year there were over 10,000 calls made. Please call and invite one other person to call.
