Br. Ed Falsey, OFM Conv.

Director of Franciscan Solidarity Tables

Br. Ed joined the Conventual Franciscan Friars in 1974. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Community Organization and Leadership in 1979 and went on to achieve his Masters in Social Work from Fordham University in 1985. He has worked as a teacher, child care worker, psychotherapist, parish organizer, and parish administrator. I was the Executive Director of the Conventual ministry project, Franciscan Collaborative Ministries, for two years and recently finished working for the Diocese of Syracuse in Pastoral Planning after 11 years.

Presently Br. Ed works as a psychotherapist part-time while organizing the Franciscan Solidarity Tables for FAN across the country. Br. Ed is also the guardian of the friary in Syracuse, NY.
