Members of the Interfaith Immigration Coalition (IIC) launched a letter-a-day to all members of Congress, with each member sending a letter to each member of Congress everyday for the next three weeks urging them to oppose any proposed legislation that would undo the Administration's recent action on immigration. This action was planned to lead up to the February 27th deadline for passage of a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) funding bill. The House approved a bill with two anti-immigrant riders which was blocked by the Senate. IIC calls for a clean funding bill and also urges Congress to oppose any legislation that would cancel the President's executive actions and be harmful to immigrant families.
FAN's letter will be sent to Congress and posted on the IIC website on Monday, February 16th. It can also be found listed below.
