2015 was a big year for all of us at the Franciscan Action Network. Here are some highlights of our accomplishments:

*    Helped form the Global Catholic Climate Movement in anticipation of Pope Francis' encyclical; "Laudato Si: On the Care of our Common Home."
*    Our continued growth of our Franciscan Earth Corps program including participation in an young adult convergence in Rome.
*    Further work advocating for the rights and dignity of each human being including migrants and refugees, including a very moving feet washing ceremony with 100 immigrant women who marched 100 miles to D.C.
*    Organized multiple events for climate justice including a fast at McPherson Square during the visit of Pope Francis to the U.S.

We wouldn't have been able to accomplish everything we did in 2015 without the help of our generous members.

Today, on Giving Tuesday, we want to focus on the future and what we have in store for 2016 including:

*    Continued work on the Sultan and the Saint documentary project and an EAD workshop on Muslim-Christian relations.
*    Franciscan Earth Corps speaking engagements at both Franciscan University of Steubenville and St. Francis University, Loretto, PA.
*    A week long Franciscan Earth Corps service immersion project with UNC students over spring break.
*    A money in politics symposium in New Hampshire highlighting the role of MIP in the 2016 election as well as a convergence of faith leaders from across the country in New York City to look at the role of money in politics and how they can work on the issue in their communities.
*    And as always, continued work with the Global Catholic Climate Movement and educational advocacy on Capitol Hill on all of our core issues including immigration, care for creation, peace-building and human dignity.

We wouldn't have been able to accomplish everything we did in 2015 without your help. As we look ahead to 2016, we need your support now more than ever.

On Giving Tuesday, will you make a donation to FAN? Your support will help sustain us in 2016.

As always, we're forever grateful for your support, both financial and through prayer.
